So I'm working on my GIF-encoding app now... so hopefully I'll be working on a lot more animations in the near future. There are so many kinks to work out!  But it's going to be great compression when its done.  (When I get the time to work on it, that is.)  :P I grabbed lots of animations from several sources, and I'm re-compressing them and studying them pixel-by-pixel to find bugs/weaknesses in my new program. Please let me know which you prefer... the still images or the animated variety.  Feedback is always welcome.  :)

I've been making these images off and on for about a year now... they've been steadily growing in complexity (and hopefully aesthetics), so I thought I'd actually collect them and put them together somewhere where I can get feedback/interaction. The images are not quite fractals, but they are basically giant cartesian functions... so they're very math-y.  Some of them are designed to just be ambient backgrounds (like a desktop), and some are designed to be their own stand-alone pictures.  They're all designed in a program I wrote... so I'm not sure if other people out there are making similar images or not. But at this point I still don't h
